The bankruptcy trustee overseeing the estate of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones won court approval to turn over nearly $4 million in cash to a Texas receiver liquidating the parent company of Jones’ Infowars media platform.
Trustee Christopher Murray can turn over the contents of two Free Speech Systems LLC bank accounts from Jones’ Chapter 7 estate to the receivership established for the benefit of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims’ families, Judge Christopher Lopez said in a Jan. 9 order in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
