Alaska Air Extends Some Flights Cancellations to Friday (2)

Alaska Airlines is still experiencing an IT outage affecting operations that has resulted in cancellations of some of its flights this evening and into tomorrow, it says in a post on X.

• IT outage is not a cybersecurity event and not related to any other events, co. says in an earlier emailed statement
• The issue began around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, with a failure at the airline’s primary data center
