Ahern Rentals Sued for Payments From Solar Fraudster’s Firm (1)

The bankruptcy trustee for DC Solar has filed a lawsuit seeking to recover some of the $33 million she claims was transferred by co-founder and convicted fraudster Jeff Carpoff to two companies controlled by Las Vegas businessman Don Ahern.

Ahern Rentals Inc. and Xtreme Manufacturing LLC had a “strategic alliance” with Carpoff to make mobile solar generators for DC Solar and participate in some leases and subleases, according to the suit filed in a Reno, Nevada, federal bankruptcy court.
