AES Andes to Sell Chile’s Central Ventanas to Quintero Energia

AES Andes has agreed to sell Central Ventanas to Quintero Energia SpA, according to a press release.

• Ventanas operates two units: Ventanas 3 of 267 MW and Ventanas 4 of 270 MW respectively, in Chile’s Valparaíso Region
• LarrainVial acted as financial advisor and Claro y Cia. acted as legal advisor of the seller.
• Barros & Errazuriz Abogados acted as legal advisor for the buyer
• The value of the operation was not reported.
• Quintero Energia is a company made up of several Chilean partners specifically to purchase assets from the Ventanas complex
