Aeromexico Sees Bankruptcy Loan Ready Soon as Losses Deepen

Grupo Aeromexico SAB is cautiously optimistic that it will have a financing plan ready ahead of the next hearing, scheduled for Aug. 19, in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.

Talks with creditors have been progressing, Timothy Graulich, a lawyer for the airline, said Wednesday during a hearing in federal court in New York. Judge Shelley Chapman delayed two motions related to the airline’s contracts and critical vendors until the next hearing, as Aeromexico said the financing plan needed to be finalized first.
