Aeromexico Approved to Seek Creditor Vote on Reorganization Plan

Grupo Aeromexico SAB won court permission to send its reorganization plan to creditors for a vote, a key step before the airline seeks final court approval to exit bankruptcy.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Shelley Chapman said she will sign a final order allowing the voting to start after the company and a committee of unsecured creditors finish writing documents that creditors will get to help them decide whether to support the debt-cutting plan. Chapman, based in Manhattan, held a court hearing by telephone Monday.
