Abu Dhabi and Sphere Entertainment Co. have announced that Yas Island has been selected as the location for Sphere Abu Dhabi, the first Sphere outside the US.
- Project will be supported by $1.7b construction phase investment from Abu Dhabi
- Sphere will have capacity of 20,000
