New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, a former member of the now-bankrupt Texas Rangers, July 28 filed a limited objection to the second amended prepackaged Chapter 11 reorganization plan of the debtor and the assumption and assignment of his contract with the Rangers (In re Texas Rangers Baseball Partners).
Rodriguez’s attorney, Joseph J. Wielebinski of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, Dallas, said his client is objecting to the debtor’s plan “out of an abundance of caution due to the potential uncertainties in the plan.”
