A&M Hires Ex-EY Partner to Expand China Restructuring Business

US advisory firm Alvarez & Marsal has hired Adam Yuan, formerly with Ernst & Young, as a managing director for its China restructuring practice, according to a statement.

• Based in Shanghai, Yuan oversees A&M’s onshore restructuring services
• A&M aims to meet rising demand for corporate restructuring services in China
• Yuan is the most senior hire for A&M’s Chinese mainland restructuring and insolvency practice to date
• Yuan was previously a managing partner for turnaround and restructuring advisory in Greater China at Ernst & Young
