The judge overseeing the 23andMe Chapter 11 case said he will review settlements, and related attorneys’ fees, with victims who say their data was exposed and issue a decision next week.
Judge Brian C. Walsh of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri said during a Tuesday hearing that he will make a final ruling at a Jan. 28 hearing on two deals he preliminarily approved last year, as well as on contested fee applications from the professionals who represented the victims.
