Warsh Hearing on Track for Next Week, Hassett Says

Fed Chair nominee Kevin Warsh’s confirmation hearing next week is on track, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett tells Fox Business.

• “He’s got an enormous amount of support, perhaps even bipartisan support,” he says
• Hassett says he’s “highly confident” Warsh is going to start as chairman on May 15
• It would be “appropriate” for current Fed Chair Jerome Powell to step aside once Warsh is confirmed, he adds
