An order requiring the Trump administration to reinstate two credit union regulators was temporarily halted by a federal appeals court.
The two Democratic board members at the National Credit Union Administration—Todd Harper and Tanya Otsuka—will effectively remain sidelined while the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit considers whether President Donald Trump had the authority to fire them.
