Two Senior UBS Bankers in Asia Are Said to Leave Swiss Lender

Two senior investment bankers at UBS Group AG in Asia are leaving the lender, adding to a wave of moves in the industry.

Hong Kong-based Petter Sternby, head of financial institutions group in the Asia Pacific region, is departing UBS for another opportunity in finance in Europe, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News. He led advisory work on transactions including mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings for banks, insurance companies and asset managers.

Sternby previously worked in roles at other global investment banks and the insurance industry.
