Trump Taps Pulte to Be Federal Housing Finance Agency Director

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Bill Pulte, the homebuilding scion and online personality, to serve as director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency.

Pulte is the grandson of Bill Pulte, who founded PulteGroup Inc. and turned it into one of the largest homebuilders in the US.

The younger Pulte is an investor in real estate as well as service companies, though he’s better known for his presence on the social media platform X, where he has roughly 3 million followers. In a post on X Thursday, Pulte thanked Trump.
