US Treasury official Shannon Ding will serve as the acting representative for the US on the International Monetary Fund’s board, according to people familiar with the matter.
Ding, currently the director of the Office of International Monetary Policy based in Washington, DC, will take the role from Elizabeth Shortino, according to people familiar with the moves who asked not to be named because the information is not public. There were no details on the timing of the transition.
