The US Supreme Court declined to hear a second challenge to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s funding after ruling it was constitutional.
The case, The Law Offices of Crystal Moroney PC v. CFPB, was an appeal of a March 2023 ruling in the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit upholding the agency’s independent funding through the Federal Reserve.
