Former Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Chairman Sheila Bair has joined DLA Piper as a senior policy adviser in Washington, the law firm said Dec. 1, joining a number of former top government officials to move to the firm.
DLA Piper said Bair would provide “strategic advice” regarding financial markets and regulation, and that she will focus on the firm’s international practice. The firm said she would have a particular interest in its public sector clients.
