Senate Republicans plan to vote to confirm President Donald Trump’s nomination of Stephen Miran as a Federal Reserve governor on Monday night.

  • A Monday confirmation would allow Miran to participate in a the Federal Open Market Committe’s rate-setting meeting, which starts on Tuesday, per a person familiar with the plans
  • Senate Majority Leader John Thune filed for a procedural vote on Monday evening, and a final vote is expected later that evening
