Richard Menschel, a Goldman Sachs Fixture Since 1959, Dies at 92

Richard Menschel, a fixture at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. for more than 65 years credited with fostering growth of the firm’s equity business, has died. He was 92.

He died on March 4 from brain cancer, according to a published death notice. His death was confirmed in a memo from Goldman Chief Executive Officer David Solomon, who said Menschel “will be remembered not only for the business he helped build, but for the example he set and the people he uplifted along the way.”
