RBC Head of Insurance Publicover to Depart the Bank Next Month

Royal Bank of Canada’s Jennifer Publicover, who led the bank’s insurance business, is leaving the company.

Publicover, who had joined the bank in 2018 after two decades at Morgan Stanley, will step down June 1, according to a spokesperson.

The insurance business will be combined with the bank’s wealth-management operation. Neil McLaughlin, who has led Royal Bank’s wealth-management business since 2024, will become head of wealth management and insurance.
