Polish Bank Lobby Disputes Losing Record in FX-Loan Cases (2)

Polish banks are faring better in court lawsuits against mortgage holders than data from borrowers shows, according to the country’s main financial industry lobby.

“The trend of favorable judgments is still higher than might result from some media reports,” the Polish Banking Association, known by its Polish acronym ZBP, said in a statement on Wednesday. “Therefore, it would be premature to say that the litigation of banks against foreign currency borrowers can cause a serious deterioration in the financial results of these banks.”
