A former top-ranking federal banking regulator joined Perkins Coie, the firm announced Wednesday.
Ted Dowd, former Acting Senior Deputy Comptroller and Chief Counsel of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, is coming to the firm’s DC office as a partner. Dowd will counsel banks, fintech platforms and other finance bodies on matters including mergers, anti-money laundering policy and risk management.
“I look forward to leveraging our combined experience to help clients navigate regulatory challenges and drive innovation in banking, fintech, and blockchain,” Dowd said in a statement.
