PayPal Hires SoFi’s Webster to Tackle Financial Crime, Fraud

PayPal Holdings Inc. hired Aaron Webster from SoFi Technologies Inc to help the payments giant fight financial crime and fraud.

Webster joins as chief enterprise services officer, effective March 18, PayPal said in a statement. He will help oversee PayPal’s global financial crime and fraud prevention programs, maintain regulatory and government relations and handle risk and compliance management.

“Aaron is a highly respected executive with extensive experience leading risk management and global operations for some of the world’s most recognized companies,“ PayPal Chief Executive Officer Alex Chriss said.
