Mnuchin Weighs Small Biz Fast Cash Loans, Changing Tax Due Dates

Treasury Sec. Steven Mnuchin is weighing postponing due date for quarterly tax payments and options for fast cash loans, according to two people familiar.

  • “As busy as he is, he’s taking the time to listen to us,” says Alfredo Ortiz, president of the conservative Job Creators Network, who adds he had three separate calls directly with Mnuchin on Monday
  • Ortiz says he proposed and Mnuchin “likes” the idea of delaying quarterly April tax payments for 90 to 180 days,
