Millennium Pod AlphaSys Global Is Launching With $2.5 Billion

Millennium Management’s quant-focused pod AlphaSys Global is launching this month with $2.5 billion of assets, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

AlphaSys, led by senior portfolio manager Robert Cecot, also includes quant researchers Jin Choi, Sophia Fan and Erin McMahon, as well as quant developer Yehan Liu, the person said. It competes against platforms such as Paul White’s Quantbot Technologies.

A Millennium spokesperson declined to comment.
