A judge clarified that his court order blocking portions of executive orders on diversity, equity, and inclusion programs applies across the entire federal government.
The government failed to demonstrate that applying the court order to all executive agencies, departments, and commissions would improperly bind nonparties, Judge Adam B. Abelson of the US District Court for the District of Maryland said in a Monday opinion granting the plaintiffs’ motion for clarification.
