Kalshi Taps Standard Chartered’s Ross for Institutional Business

Prediction-markets platform Kalshi Inc. tapped the former head of prime and financing at Standard Chartered Plc to help build its business serving institutional investors, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Kalshi hired Andy Ross as head of institutional business, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing information that isn’t public. He starts in his new role in March, following a period of gardening leave after leaving Standard Chartered last year, the people said.
