JPMorgan Wins Case Over Handling of Fisher Brothers Heir’s Trust

JPMorgan Chase & Co. won a Delaware court ruling Monday confirming that the bank didn’t mismanage a trust set up to hold part of the family fortune of the late property mogul Richard Fisher, a former leader at the Fisher Brothers real estate firm co-founded by his father.

Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster issued a declaratory judgment in JPMorgan’s favor, rejecting claims that the bank was negligent or disloyal in its handling of the trust, which was established for the benefit of Fisher’s eldest son Hadley.
