JPMorgan Taps Corgan for New Strategic Situations Initiative

JPMorgan Chase & Co. named bond-trading boss Kevin Corgan to lead a new “strategic situations” initiative in its credit-markets group.

Previously head of North America credit trading, Corgan will partner with investors, debt issuers and JPMorgan’s investment bankers on credit trading opportunities that might arise as the coronavirus pandemic damages economies worldwide, according to a memo to staff from Guy America, global head of credit markets. Joe Saad, who helps runs special situations and distressed trading, will also join the new initiative, according to the memo.
