JPMorgan Settles Claim by Ex-VP in Its Anti-Corruption Unit (1)

JPMorgan Chase & Co. agreed to resolve a suit by a former vice president in its anti-corruption unit claiming she was marginalized, mistreated and then fired from the bank for complaining about compliance failures.

The bank and Shaquala Williams told US District Judge Jed Rakoff on Monday they had “reached a resolution as to all terms,” avoiding a trial that was set for Nov. 7, according to a court filing. Details of the settlement were not disclosed, and the bank declined to comment.
