Jefferies Names Former Fed Official Richard Fisher as Adviser

Jefferies Financial Group Inc. named Richard Fisher, former head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, as a senior adviser, according to a person with knowledge of the appointment.

Fisher, recently a senior adviser to Barclays Plc, served as president and chief executive officer of the Dallas Fed for a decade. A representative for New York-based Jefferies confirmed the appointment.
