Immigration Bond Firm’s Sale of Customer Data Blocked by Judge

An immigration detention bond company facing an $811 million judgment in a Biden-era case sold customer data and contracts in violation of court orders, a federal judge ruled.

Nexus Services Inc. and its founders Evan Ajin and Micheal Donovan will have to take back and destroy the customer information and contracts that were included in an April 2024 sale of its assets to Libre Immigration Services Inc., Judge Elizabeth K. Dillon of the US District Court for the Western District of Virginia said in a Monday ruling.
