Guardian Analytics Inc. and Webster Bank NA allegedly failed to protect the personal information of customers in connection with a late-2022 data breach that exposed the information of 192,000 people, a proposed federal class action said.
Edward Marshall and Ann Marie Marshall alleged that Guardian Analytics, a provider of financial analytics services to financial institutions, and Webster Bank recklessly and willfully failed to take adequate measures to ensure that sensitive customer data was protected.
