Goldman Sachs Seeks to Add Jobs in Italy, Sole Reports

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is planning on adding more staff in Italy, targeting growth in wealth and asset management, as well as in private banking.

The Wall Street firm which has significantly expanded its Italian presence in recent years, aims to further develop its brand in the country by building long-term relationships with local entrepreneurs, Goldman’s international head Richard Gnodde said in an interview with newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore on Sunday.

There are big companies in Italy “to finance via public and private markets,” Gnodde said.
