Goldman Finds ‘No Concerns’ Over Secrets Stolen by a Banker’s Ex

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said it found no wrongdoing by an investment banker whose boyfriend admitted stealing confidential information from her almost a decade ago, and then used it to make profitable trades.

Marc Demane Debih, a Swiss trader who has pleaded guilty to dozens of insider-trading charges, told a New York jury on Jan. 8 that he secretly got client data on three proposed mining-industry acquisitions from Zeynep Yenel, who was his girlfriend at the time and is now a Goldman Sachs managing director. After his testimony, the bank said it would investigate the matter.
