Wells Fargo Union Wins First Vote Outside of Branches (Correct)

Wells Fargo & Co. now has its first unionized workforce based outside of local branches, after employees in the bank’s conduct management intake department voted in favor of organizing.

The unit voted 21-16 to join Wells Fargo Workers United, part of the Communications Workers of America, the union announced Wednesday. The National Labor Relations Board certified the vote on Tuesday.

The vote marks a significant development in the workers’ growing campaign to form the first-ever union at a major US bank.
