FinTech Startup Current Raids Shopify to Hire First Legal Chief

Finco Services Inc., a digital banking startup known as Current, has hired Jodi Golinsky to be its general counsel after reaching unicorn status earlier this year.

Golinsky spent the past three years at Shopify Inc., where she led a team of 12 employees who handled legal, compliance, and strategy work for multiple product business lines at the e-commerce company and all financial solutions and services, according to her LinkedIn profile.
