Fed’s Plan Tied to Basel On Track for End of First Quarter (1)

The Federal Reserve’s top bank cop said Wednesday that a revised capital proposal tied to Basel III is on track to be released by the end of the first quarter.

US regulators plan to publish the proposal and then seek public input, Fed Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman said at an event at the Exchequer Club in Washington. She emphasized there would be “plenty of time” for the industry and public to weigh in on the plan.
