Fed’s Barr Sworn In, Forming Full Board for First Time Since ‘13

The Federal Reserve said Michael Barr has been sworn in as vice chair for supervision, filing the remaining open slot at the board that now has a full complement of seven governors for the first time since 2013.

Chair Jerome Powell administered the office of office in the press briefing room of the Fed Board’s Martin Building in Washington on Tuesday, the central bank said in a statement.
