Two federal banking regulators reinstated probationary employees terminated in a previous round of workforce cuts, according to letters sent to the workers.
The employees at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency will be placed on administrative leave and are unable to work unless specifically instructed by their managers, the Monday letters obtained by Bloomberg Law said.
