More than one-third of Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. survey respondents reported experiencing or witnessing sexual and other harassment, an agency watchdog found.
To make matters worse, FDIC mangers didn’t protect harassment victims and in some instances retaliated against those who filed complaints, according to a report from the agency’s inspector general released Thursday.
“These conditions occurred because leadership does not consistently implement the Agency’s policies and stated core values, specifically, fairness, accountability, and integrity,” the report said.
