Estonia Completes Pre-Trial Probe of Six Former Danske Staff

Estonian prosecutors are preparing to bring charges against 6 former Danske Bank employees in the money laundering investigation after completing the pre-trial probe.

The prosecutor’s office gave the defense counsels 4 months to get acquainted with the case materials and to submit any requests to the prosecutors, it said in an emailed statement on Wednesday. The office will decide in which form the case will be sent to the court once such requests are dealt with.

The prosecutors needs to additionally analyze case materials and evidence regarding the remaining nine suspects, it added.
