EQB Says CEO Andrew Moor Has Died, CRO Named Interim Leader (1)

EQB Inc. Chief Executive Officer Andrew Moor died unexpectedly at the age of 65 over the weekend and Marlene Lenarduzzi has been named interim leader.

“Andrew was a visionary leader, and the world of banking in Canada is a better place because of his efforts,” spokeswoman Maggie Hall said in an emailed statement Tuesday. Moor was married with three children and he had not been sick, she said. “He will be deeply missed.”

Lenarduzzi, the firm’s current chief risk officer, will become interim CEO effective immediately and join the company’s board, the bank said later Tuesday morning. EQB is also ...
