Prosecutors Descend on DWS as Greenwashing Probe Drags on (2)

German prosecutors descended on Deutsche Bank AG’s investment arm DWS for a second time as part of a long-running investigation into whether the firm misled clients over its sustainability capabilities.

Law enforcement officials on Jan. 16 executed a search warrant at the firm’s headquarters to obtain further evidence on the veracity of the greenwashing allegations, a spokesman for the office said in an emailed statement. The probe is targeting a former executive and yet unidentified employees, according to the statement.
