Deutsche Bank Plans to Lift Investment Bank Bonuses by About 10%

Deutsche Bank AG is planning to raise investment bank bonuses by about 10%, an increase that would put it in line with its Wall Street peers.

The German lender’s bonus pool for the firm as a whole is expected to expand too, though by less than 10%, people familiar with the matter said. The decision isn’t final and individual bonuses will only be communicated in March, they said, asking not to be identified discussing the private information.

The expected bonus gain at the investment bank is an average and changes for units will vary, the people said.
