Deutsche Bank Hires JPMorgan’s Shimazu as Head of Japan M&A

Deutsche Bank AG has hired Yosuke Shimazu from JPMorgan Chase & Co. to be its head of mergers and acquisitions in Japan.

Shimazu has spent the past 18 years at JPMorgan, working in London, New York and Tokyo, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg News. He has experience with large-carp corporates and financial sponsors, particularly in industrials and telecommunications, media and technology, Deutsche Bank said in the memo, the contents of which were confirmed by a representative for the lender.
