Danske Bank Creates ‘Conflicts of Interest’ Unit After Scandals

Danske Bank A/S, which this week became embroiled in yet another financial scandal, says it’s creating a new unit to manage conflicts of interest.

The bank is now looking for someone to become its conflict management compliance officer, according to a posting on LinkedIn. The idea is to make sure Danske stays “on top of regulatory requirements,” and that it can “identify, prevent and manage potential conflicts of interest.”
