Credit Suisse’s ESG Bankers Join StanChart Amid Wider Exodus (1)

Among the many bankers quitting Credit Suisse AG are its ESG specialists, many of whom are making their way to Standard Chartered Plc.

Eugene Klerk joined StanChart last month to become the bank’s head of ESG research, after working as an analyst at Credit Suisse, according to his LinkedIn page. Klerk joins a group of recent hires from the Swiss bank including Oliver Withers, head of biodiversity, and Aleksandra Botez, director of regulatory change and governance.
