CoinMarketCap CEO Carylyne Chan Leaves After Binance Purchase

CoinMarketCap.com Interim Chief Executive Officer Carylyne Chan said she’s leaving the popular cryptocurrency data website, which was acquired by Binance Holdings Ltd.

“Now that the integration has been fully concluded, it is an opportune time to start looking at other opportunities in the crypto space and beyond,” Chan said in a blog post Monday. Four other people have left the site as well, she said.

Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency-trading platforms, bought CoinMarketCap in the spring for an undisclosed amount. The site is arguably the most popular among individual investors for tracking coin prices.
