Citi Veterans Join Billionaire-Backed EFG in London Wealth Push

EFG International AG, the Swiss wealth manager backed by Greece’s billionaire Latsis family, has added a pair of Citigroup Inc. veterans as the private bank builds up its operations in the UK capital.

Shalini Mathur and Gbolahan Fasade recently started as client relationship officers in London with a focus on serving individuals from Sub-Saharan Africa, according to memos to staff, copies of which were seen by Bloomberg.

The pair previously spent more than 35 years combined at Citigroup, where Mathur helped lead the Wall Steet giant’s wealth operations targeting areas south of the Sahara Desert, according to the memos ...
